SPECTRA Builds on Market Momentum with Two Key Board Appointments

June14, 2024—Hamilton, Bermuda—SPECTRA is pleased to announce the appointment of two MSP-minded IT channel leaders, Kelly Carter and Eric Altamura, to SPECTRA’s Board of Directors. The appointments come at an exciting time in SPECTRA’s history—signaling a new phase of growth and increasing opportunity that will accelerate SPECTRA’s efforts to make it easier for MSPs and their customers worldwide to achieve cyber resilience.

The Board appointments follow a strategic go-to-market announcement between SPECTRA and Ingram Micro, which includes a targeted engagement with the distribution leader’s two Five-Star partner communities SMB Alliance and Trust X Alliance. The appointments also point to amplifying and expanding SPECTRA’s success in the UK market and beyond.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Kelly and Eric to SPECTRA’s Board as they bring a wealth of experience in the channel and managed security, two critical sectors that have a profound and growing impact on designing, delivering, and managing better risk transfer solutions to businesses everywhere,” said Edouard von Herberstein, Founder and CEO of SPECTRA.

Carter brings invaluable experience in the technology channel as SPECTRA develops partnerships with MSPs and expands its relationship with Ingram Micro globally to deliver innovative risk solutions and cyber resilience to the channel at scale. Throughout Carter’s impressive career, she has served as VP of Credit and Financial Solutions for Ingram Micro North America and Chief Financial Officer of Ingram Micro Canada. Today, Carter is Fulcrum IT Partner's Chief Strategy Officer. As a proven business leader and former CRN Power 100 honoree, Carter brings a collaborative and growth mindset to her leadership roles.

“SPECTRA is delivering game-changing solutions in cyber warranties and insurance and elevating channel partners’ abilities to bring increased value to their customers in the area of cyber resilience and adopt better business practices,” said Carter. “I’m thrilled and honored to join the SPECTRA Board and look forward to the company’s continued growth.”

Altamura serves as President of Resilient Services, the team responsible for SPECTRA’s Certification of Resilience program for MSPs. In addition to his appointment to the Board, Altamura has been appointed Group COO. In this role, he will continue to leverage his cybersecurity expertise and experience to drive SPECTRA’s growth strategy in the Channel.

“SPECTRA is solving for one of the biggest pressure points within the IT channel today: cyber resilience,” noted Altamura. “I’m thrilled to join Kelly on our Board and serve as president and Group COO of SPECTRA.
